When it happens, we minimize downtime by sending trained service experts with parts on-hand to fix or replace equipment as quickly as possible. Our rental plans offer manageable monthly payments, making it easy to budget. Better still, the payments are typically tax deductible as an operating expense.

Our Company History

Our company has deep roots dating back over 50 years to its founding in 1966 as Wisconsin Gas Leasing Services (WGLS), a division of the Wisconsin Gas Company. The unit was founded to promote the use of gas appliances in Wisconsin, providing new financing options to encourage customers to upgrade their old water heating equipment.

WICOR, the local holding company of Wisconsin Gas, became part of Wisconsin Energy, creating the largest electric and natural gas provider in Wisconsin. After the merger, the company began realigning its overall goals to focus on its core business of providing more power sources for Wisconsinites.

Wisconsin Electric-Wisconsin Gas officially changed its name to We Energies. They also decided to sell the Wisconsin Gas Leasing Services division to a group of investors dedicated to maintaining the mission of providing affordable hot water solutions to customers throughout Wisconsin. In June 2002, WGLS officially became Wisconsin Leasing LLC.

Now an independent company, we were still focused on keeping our customers in hot water, but we were also offering additional water-related equipment like softeners and boilers. And we thought the name “Wisconsin Leasing” was too vague. So, we re-branded to reflect our mission and changed our name to Reliable Water Services LLC (“RWS”) in November 2005.

In May 2009, RWS acquired the assets of a similar business that had been a division of a gas company in Indianapolis, expanding our team and extending our service coverage area to the entire Hoosier state.

We decided it was time to refresh our look, so we redesigned our logo and freshened up our color scheme. Our new RWS monogram logo was created to visually symbolize that “hot water” is still at the core of our business.

In January 2018, we finished relocating our corporate offices to 3rd & Wisconsin, in the heart of Downtown Milwaukee, WI. This move to the city’s center allows us to better serve our customers by bringing us closer to a variety of resources, like having our equipment warehouse located within walking distance. We are now centrally located between multiple major plumbing distribution houses, allowing more efficient access to needed parts for nearly every water heater brand out there.

In November 2022, we relocated our corporate offices to Brookfield, WI. This move provided an onsite equipment warehouse within our main offices, while keeping us centrally located between multiple major plumbing distribution houses, allowing efficient access to needed parts for nearly every water heater brand available.
